Christie is the Co-Director and Principal Physiotherapist of PhysioFIXX, which she back in 2012, founded on a passion for one-on-one consultations, longer appointments and evidenced based care which translate into effective patient-driven results. Christie is an experienced Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist who has worked extensively within sports physiotherapy private practices in Sydney, sports teams and within aged care facilities.
With experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries of all origins, ranging from the workplace and sporting fields, Christie uses multitude of manual therapy techniques to get you moving better, with a then transitionary active physiotherapy approach which will get stronger, preventing future injury and also enhancing performance. Christie has completed certified courses in Dry-Needling & Clinical Pilates, which she utilizes in combination with her skilled manual therapies and physiotherapy exercise prescription to help with pain relief for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Growing up, Christie was involved in a wide array of sporting competitions, thus she draws upon her sporting background coupled with her exercise science degree to aid physiotherapy assessments and treatments. Christie has worked with a variety of elite and sub-elite sports teams including NSW Touch Football Association, Sydney Olympic football club, OzTag Australia & the St George District Netball Association.
